That is a Law.Only third to the ‘ Shuttit When I’m Doing Da Talkin‘ ‘ one and ,foremost, the Fang is Mine (bold, italicized, underlined!) Law.For proof of this, see chinx’ entry on Cook(she was another David A. fan before I happened!).Hahh! That is officially (and otherwise, for the curious of you) my absolute favorite thing to say,no competition (’hahh!’ ,i mean 4 the dumber of you..he he).
Although Laav beat me to this one-most unfairly, might I add- I have things to say. Firstly : The book was about global-freakin’-warming? And here I was thinking it revolved around Itex destroying the world as we know it,leaving only genetic superiors-the Flock among others.Silly me.Seriously.I mean, what next? Why don’t we just make them a title sequence and give them shiny, new Captain Planet outfits, huh? Why. Don’t even get me started on their newly-surfaced ‘powers’.A-s-i-n-i-n-e (read Laav’s post for details)with the possible exception of Fang.
Ah..Fang.

Although we’re used to him being the quieter, background character and he seemed a smidge OOC* in book 3,I actually like how he’s grown ( I would..)Max is getting tiring ( this is good for me so this is one gal that wont complain!),though still true to her character. The rest of them, though? Are just …sitting there, developing insane, useless powers;dying, breaking bones (their own;not-so-helpful) so..yeah.
Let me tell you, J.P : I am disappointed.Very.It’s the cheesiest novel I have ever had the misfortune to read. I don’t even want to read the next one ! I must, though. For Fang’s sake.*sigh.. The things I do for love..
And on that happy note,I’m going to call it a night.
‘Fly On‘.

[...] * Everyone Agrees With Me In The End [...]
I don’t agree with you. The story isn’t over.
That’s because it isn’t The End yet.You will when it is, Kate, they all do.
And yes, I know it isn’t over but that’s rather unfortunate- because now I’ll have to sit through one more book of *that* (*shudders) just for Fang.
It’s just an opinion though..you can keep yours, too.Until The End..
i sorta agree and i sorta dont. i agree that the 4th shouldve been a bit better but i will continue the book until the actual THE END whenever that comes.
If it’s anything like the fourth installment, though, I ain’t going within three planetary orbits of it!
are you out of your mind? james patterson is trying to get a message out! do you have any idea how glabal warming is affecting the planet? he’s right! animals are dying out, plants are dying…he thought of a great idea to get the message out! loads of people are reading his books, they think he’s a great author, so, why not try and tell them something in them? i think it’s a GREAT idea! glabal warming is really bad, and we’re making it worse and worse…
granted, it was about fighting itex and the school, but, technically, they’re contributing a huge portion of it ((no, dummy, not in the real world..there are no scientists who gave little kids wings and kept them in dog cages))…and itex and the school represent large factories in the real world, technically. if you don’t care about this planet, you can go get a new one, cuz the rest of us are trying to do something to stop it, and what’s a better way than using your writing an a good story to get the message out? you got a better idea? one that people will listen to?
HEY listen, there is a MAJOR difference between writing a GOOD BOOK and spreading a message. It may be nice that he’s interested in ’saving the world for u’ It just completely threw the entire series off. Would u want a harry potter book in which he goes around magick-ing off pollution and prevent “glabal warming”???
As for being critiques, we just thought it was an extremely lame book. That was NOT a good book. “Glabal” warming or not.
As for spreading the word, why not another book? Why spoil Max Ride?? It just is completely off track from the 1st 2 books.
An no, dummy, we are perfectly sane and we know that in the real world there aint such scientists.
Dear Miss , ( At least I’m assuming you’re female- if you’re a regular reader, you wont be surprised.I’d be surprised if you were one, however..)
Before you start gadding about, calling people ‘dummy’, you might want to come across as little less of one yourself*.Just a hint.
If you’d taken the trouble to look through this site, I’m certain you would have found a couple of mentions of my own active interest in fighting pollution and such.As for your protest : I never read such rubbish in my life!My opinion was on the book.Which, I still say, is crap.Captain Planet did a much better job of spreading the message without making folks feel stupid ( which I did feel for having read the book at all..).
And I suppose YOUR trying to do something involves looking up sites that are against Max Ride.Ooh, you’re a formidable one! In hands like yours, our world is heading to a real nice place.
Much love,
One Majorly Riled BWC.
P.S. It’s spelt ‘global’, honey. You might have noticed if you actually ever came across the word at all.Hardly likely for a typist chimpanzee, I realize, but still..
Also : I do have an ingenius idea that will make the world a better place : Have people pass an IQ test before being let loose on the internet!
Wow! Thank you very much!
I always wanted to write in my blog something like that. Can I take part of your post to my site?
Of course, I will add backlink?
Regards, Timur Alhimenkov
Sure, so long as you link to it.Although, might I asked what you mean by ‘always wanted to write in my blog something like that’ ?
